In Memoriam - Ethelmae Craig Humphreys

The CIT team is saddened by the loss of our remarkable friend and supporter, Ethelmae Craig Humphreys.

Ethalmae exemplified the American spirit through her strong leadership and admirable work ethic. In her early 20s, she starting working as a nail sacker in the shingle manufacturing business started by her father. She closed out her service to the firm and industry, 73 years later, as Chairman Emerita of TAMKO Building Products, LLC.

In Memoriam - Bob Chitester (1937-2021)

We at CIT are saddened by the passing of Bob Chitester, a longtime friend who founded In the Classroom Media, the precursor to Stossel in the Classroom. Bob was a visionary and an educator. He saw the growing impact of video and founded the Free to Choose Network to promote liberty to millions of TV viewers and students. Through his production of the award-winning PBS series, Free to Choose, Bob brought the principles of personal, economic, and political freedom into living rooms throughout America and made Milton Friedman a household name. Bob never stopped working relentlessly for liberty. We'll miss Bob, who made the world a better, freer place.
